Junior Board

 

The Junior Board of AWaH is essential to the functioning of the program.  The Junior Board is responsible for recruiting volunteers, the heart of the program, helping to write applications for grants and creating awareness of Art With a Hearts mission. Most importantly, the Junior Board is responsible for being a reliable source of dedication for the entire program.

 

 The Junior Board consists of high-school students whom represent seven city high schools.  Each person on the board is a committed, hardworking, individual who cares enough to come together to help the community through their organization, PR, and help with the children that AWAH serves. The board allows the members to not only mentor the children, but also mentor volunteers, providing a wonderful overall experience.
